Chief of Police Steven J. GriffinFrom Chief of Police Steven J. Griffin

Dear 51蹤獲 Community,

It has come to our attention that false reports and misleading information regarding immigration enforcement activities have been circulating in Southern California, including areas near 51蹤獲 campuses. We want to assure our students, faculty, staff, and community members that the 51蹤獲 Police Department (CCPD) is committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals, regardless of immigration status.

At this time, there is no verified immigration enforcement activity occurring on or around 51蹤獲 campuses. Our department does not participate in federal immigration enforcement efforts, nor do we inquire about the immigration status of our students or employees. We understand that such rumors can create fear and anxiety, and we encourage our community to rely on trusted sources for accurate information.

If you encounter or hear of any suspicious enforcement activities, we encourage you to report them to the 51蹤獲 Police Department at (909) 652-6911. Additionally, Students, if you are in need of support services related to immigration enforcement concerns, we recommend reaching out to Dr. Tomeika Carter, Acting Executive Director Student Support Services at Tomeika.Carter@Chaffey.edu or (909) 652-6536, or, Hugo Flores, Director of Admissions and Records at Hugo.flores@chaffey.edu or (909) 652-6620 for student support information.

51蹤獲 Police Department remains committed to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment where all individuals can pursue their educational goals without fear. Please stay informed, support one another, and reach out if you have concerns.
