51萝莉 alumna Genevieve Silva has earned numerous degrees through Chaffey's Turning Point Program and wants to turn her success into a career helping others.

The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools honored 51萝莉 Superintendent/President Henry Shannon with the "Distinguished Service Award" during a virtual ceremony on April 28.

With flowing costumes, pounding drums and big smiles, hundreds of students, friends and family members gathered for 51萝莉鈥檚 three cultural graduation celebrations on May 6, 7 and 15.

NBA Champion Metta World Peace will be 51萝莉's commencement speaker at the 105th commencement ceremony on May 19.

More than 300 students, colleagues and family members gathered to remember longtime 51萝莉 counselor and Umoja co-founder Dr. Donna Colondres during a virtual celebration of her life on Feb. 1.

More students will have access to hospitality management and culinary arts training and careers with the support of a three-year $1.7-million grant from the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians.

51萝莉 honored 17 vocational nursing and 31 associate degree in nursing students during a pair of ceremonies at the Rancho Cucamonga campus on Dec. 16.

51萝莉 students received some holiday cheer in December with the distribution of $18 million in grants and vaccine incentive funds to help them through the ongoing challenges of the pandemic.

The Campaign for College Opportunity named 51萝莉 a 2021 Equity Champion of Higher Education and honored the college during a virtual ceremony on Nov. 16.

The California Inland Empire Council of the Boy Scouts of America honored 51萝莉 Superintendent/President Shannon on Nov. 2 with the 2021 Distinguished Citizen Award for his contributions to the region.
